The Challenges...
The Norfolk Scout Dragon Challenge is not about creating lots of work for our busy Section Leaders, it is a set of monthly activities that will be posted on this website from March through to August.
Is it hard work?
The activities will not fry your brains or leave you pulling your hair out but will hopefully provide a set of interesting and maybe new ideas for your section to try.
Are there lots of rules?
No, it is designed to be fun and flexible. We will release the challenges monthly but if you want to save them up to do altogether you can. You can adapt them to make them more challenging if need or change them to fit in with other events in your programme.
Do I have to prove my section did everything?
No - we trust you, you're a Scout!
When you have finished you just need to let us know and we will get the free-of-charge 'I've completed the challenge' badges out to you to present. - The badges are designed to fit underneath the special Dragon commemorative badges.
Do we have to come to Norwich?
The July/August challenge will involve coming to Norwich and taking part in the Go Go Dragon trail (you can actually do that between 21 June and 5 September if it makes your life easier!).
If your group can't get to Norwich then members can complete that part of the challenge on their own (with parents if appropriate of course!)
